Web Design Articles: Look Ma! I made a webpage!

The Quiz!

You didn't think there was really gonna be a quiz, did ya? Har!

  1. Should you? Making the choice—Look at what you need your site to do, and for whom. Pay special attention to internet-based businesses and organizations. Finish this sentence: “Just because I can doesn't mean...” (I told you it would be on the quiz!)

  2. Where can you find help? Do-it-yourself tips—There's a veritable slew of online resources and books that can help you design a solid site. (I'm not sure how many are in a slew, but I would be willing to bet it's a lot.) It's worth your time to find out how to do it right! And if you're looking to go pro, check out my tips for wannabes.

  3. When should you give up? Admit it—Is it too much? Only you know what your limits are. But if web design is not your career and you find yourself sinking for the third time, hire somebody. It's worth your sanity. (If cost is an issue, check out my "Tight-Belt Tips" for getting your website set up inexpensively.)

That's it! I hope these thoughts are helpful to you. If you think I left out something important, please share your ideas with me. I wish you all the best with your project!
