Site maintenance is available both on an as-needed basis at an hourly rate, or through an ongoing service contract at a contract rate, with a minimum billing for 1 hour each month.
Maintenance Agreements are billed at a lower hourly rate, and are best suited for people who need at least monthly updates. As-needed work is billed at a higher hourly rate, and is better suited for people that only need occasional changes or who may do their own site updates but sometimes need help. Service contracts fees are consistent every month, and may be renegotiated based on a client's changing needs.
Service contracts are offered on a month-to-month basis, due near the beginning of a month for that month's service. Service agreements can be canceled at any time, but require at least 30 days notice when canceling. If an agreement is canceled without notice, the final month's fees will still be due.
Invoices usually go out the last week of the month for the coming month. Invoices are generally due on the 10th. Invoice payments not received within a 10-day grace period after the due date incur a 5% late charge.
When two or more invoices become past due, all services may be suspended until the account is brought current.
Returned Checks: If a check is returned to my bank unpaid, you will be notified so that you can make arrangements to replace the returned payment. In addition to the original amount on a returned check, there will be an additional $25 charge to cover additional processing and bank fees. If the returned payment has not been replaced within a 10-day grace period from notification, standard late fees may be added.
My goal is to complete most update requests within a week or less. Many times, work can be completed faster, but not always, depending on your needs, scheduling and other issues. Please do allow a few days for your work to be completed. You are also welcome to email me to check on your projects at any time.
Work requiring a turn-around time of two business days or less, or any work that specifically must be completed off-hours (after 5pm, weekends and holidays) are subject to a Rush Surcharge of $25 per incident.
I do subcontracting work at a discounted rate. Please contact me to discuss potential collaborative projects.
I stand behind my work. At any time, if an error is ever discovered in work I've done for you, I will correct it without charge. It's that simple.
If you are unhappy with my work for any reason, I encourage you to contact me so I can address any problems and work out any concerns to our mutual satisfaction. I believe in win-win situations!
Please note: The No-Errors Guarantee does not include issues that I am not directly responsible for (such as an application that stops working after a PHP upgrade, for example) or errors introduced by others working on a site. While I can certainly help you correct such issues, that is considered billable time.
